2012 Reunion Welcome

Welcome classes of 1974 and 1975; teachers and guests!.....A 38th and 37th class reunion is for OLD people….and here we are!!!!!!

I would like to thank Karen for all her hard work to help plan this reunion; it was fun cooking with you the last couple days as we prepared the meal together. A special thanks to Mary Christie, Mr. Selheim, Sandra Lutovsky and Chris Misialek for all their work. To Karen’s husband Mike, thanks for all you helped with and sat patiently as Karen and I discussed the reunion, and finally my husband Jay, who listened as I babbled my ideas to him (well, I think he listened?). And…..finally all of you, this would not be a success without all of you attending.

Its funny how things come together in life, this reunion all started with a request for a recipe. One September day, I received a letter from Karen asking for my mom’s (point in the air) turkey dressing recipe. Karen also asked if I was interested in planning a reunion for the classes of 1974 and 1975, and here we are. As we come together this evening, we hope that you leave with some nostalgia, smiles, and good memories.

Looking out at the classes of 1974 and 1975, their appears to be a few thing quite noticeable, after 37 and 38 years, most of the guys hairlines are further back, they share the same hair color and Clairol truly has been a girl’s best friend!

To the teacher’s you really have not changed, you are like the Eveready Bunny, and have just kept on going.
